Flavia Volpini is an Austrian Master Goldsmith and Gemmologist. Flavia started her journey into jewelry at the Vienna goldsmithing Academy in the year 2005 trained by the german master goldsmith Nadja Zweigler.
She also studied at Le Arti Orafe contemporary jewelry school in Florence Italy where she got introduced to the art of engraving, rendering and the world of gemology.
Since her style includes precious gemtones she decided to add gemology as a second education therefore she followed the Linz Academy in Austria.
In 2014 Flavia stepped forward to legitimize her professional path by taking the Austrian Master exam for “Goldsmith, Silversmith and Jeweler” and in 2017, she earned the honorable title of Master Goldsmith.
With an experience of 16 years in classical goldsmithing and jewelry making Flavia’s style clearly defines in the craft of planning and building mechanics in precious metals and gemstones.
After moving to Romania and after discovering Artkimia and the potential of metal clay, she became eager to bring the old and the new together to further advance the development of the honorable tradition of jewelry making, and adding a new passion in her life – the passion for teaching.
