About the Maki-e technique:

Etsuko Nakayama has gone one step further and developed an innovative method of re-adapting this high-quality technique for use in jewelry creation from metal clay.

In addition to using Art Clay Silver, this course is also based on the use of resin, varnish and metallic powders. These materials will allow you to bring unique creations to life and achieve results that are sure to amaze everyone who sees them.

You will create a perfect rectangular double-faced silver base, on which you will then use the innovative technique developed by Etsuko Nakayama to apply the Japanese Maki-e pattern.
