The resin offers countless possibilities to include in the jewelry, in addition to color and found objects, flowers and leaves, pigments, paper and sheets and many others. UV resin is a resin that hardens quickly under ultraviolet light. It maintains its clarity and transparency over time and does not turn yellow. Once hardened, it has a hard, waterproof finish and a high transparency. This resin can also be used in other projects:
– applied as a protective layer over glass, ceramic or stone cabochons
– as a protective layer over inks or patina applied to metals
In this course you will create a piece of jewelry: ring, earrings or pendant in which pigments, sheets and small accessories will be applied in UV resin. The base of the jewel created in the course can be created by either method metal clay as well as the traditional one. To participate in this course, you need to have a minimum of experience in metal clay or traditional jewelry.
