Adrian Plesca

Adrian Plesca has always been attracted to art, especially the Byzantine one, so in 1993 he attended the courses of the Columna Faculty, Plastic Arts section.

After a short break, he met again with art and continued his studies following a series of metal sculpting courses, specific techniques of pressing with tools on a soft copper or brass plate, through which three-dimensional artistic forms can be obtained.

In 2004, Adrian graduated from the Faculty of Orthodox Theology, which greatly changed his beliefs (and) in relation to art and thus he directed all his attention to church art, especially Byzantine art.

The passion for the art of jewelry pushed him to continue his studies and in the last 10 years he studied and mastered the craft of engraving, chiselling, miniature chiselling, traditional jewelry, metal clay jewelry (metal clay).

The specialization in techniques such as chiseling and "hand engraving GRS" gave Adrian the opportunity to create jewelry from the category of liturgical objects, such as: spoons for Holy Communion, halos for icons, covers of church books, relics, wedding rings engraved with emblems beads, bracelets and other accessories decorated with stones or engraved with the faces of saints.

His passion for engraving as well as the pedagogic knowledge acquired in college pushed him towards a new passion, that of sharing and teaching these beautiful techniques to art and jewelry creators.
