Always passionate about handmade creation, Anca began her adventure as a jewelry designer in 2016.
Considering that jewelry tells true stories and is a way of expression and communication between the creator and the wearer, it focuses on the message transmitted, using craft techniques as a means, not as an end in itself.
The favorite approach is mixed media, respectively combining metal clay with a variety of other materials (beads, wire, polymer clay, micro macrame, all types of glass, mosaic, ceramics, porcelain). Enamelling, painting with resin or silver paste, mokume gane and keum boo give him the opportunity to compose his stories.
Versatility is part of the message and that is why it prefers multifunctional, kinetic jewelry (with hinges, axes of rotation, gemotion, etc.).
As a geologist, Anca is fascinated by the association of metals (silver, gold, copper, bronzes) and crystals, constantly experimenting. It is mainly inspired by nature and history, but also by travel, music, literature. Favorite themes are embodied in collections meant to radiate positive energy such as Sky, Water, Organic, Hidden Worlds, Angels, Colors, Baroque, Kinetic, Winter Stories, A Midsummer Night's Dream.
